Chocolate cake is a classic - dark, moist, inviting. This low carb chocolate cake has an excellent Fat Burning Index™ as well!
4 eggs 1/2 cup sugar equivalent 1 cup almonds, coarsely chopped 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 Tbs almond flour 1 tsp baking soda 3 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder Separate egg whites from yolks. In a blender, blend the whites and sweetener. Continuing blending, add the ingredients in this order: nuts, vanilla, flour, soda, yolks, and cocoa, blend for 2 minutes more. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Serving size = 1/6. About 3.5 g carb Fat Burning Index™ = 1.90* * To be a fat burning food, it should have Fat Burning Index™ above 1.5.
