Cheating on the Diet and Still Losing Weight

One of the problems I have with the Rosedale diet book is that there aren’t always explanations of why a food is allowed, restricted or banned.

For example, the diet bans all carbonated (soda pop) drinks, even diet drinks.  Why?

The second week, and I’m on a roll!  Every night I get on the scales, and I’m a tad less than the night before.  Every morning I get on the scales, and I’m a tad less than the morning before.

A Quick Way to Kill Cravings

I mentioned earlier that I’ve been using EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to stop any cravings (mostly, an occasional craving for a low carb chocolate!).

This is the only technique I’ve ever tried that actually killed my cravings.

The First Week of the Diet

When I saw my first Rosedale diet dinner - a very small serve of chicken, plus low carb vegetables, my first thought was ‘is that all?’. And thats exactly how I felt after I’d eaten it!

Gradually, over the week, I learned to add soup and/or salad to the meal, to bulk it up a little.
