The third week passed relatively uneventfully. By that I mean no cravings - I’ve even started to feel reasonably full after a meal, instead of the ‘is that all?’ feeling.
Gary even commented that he isn’t missing our low carb treats. (low carb muffins, low carb pancakes, etc - he used to adore them, but they’re not really on this diet.
And the good news is that my weight continued to steadily drop. After my past experiences with Atkins induction, I half expected to hit a weight loss plateau (stall) this week, but that hasn’t happened.
Since this is the first diet in several years that I’ve actually lost weight on, I’m utterly thrilled, and hoping that it will continue to work, although I know that it would be unrealistic to expect the initial rate of weight loss to continue.
So at the end of the third week, and the end of level one on the Rosedale diet, I’ve lost a total of 9 kilos (about 20 pounds) !!!

The second week, and I'm on a roll! Every night I get on the scales, and I'm a tad less than the night before. Every morning I get on the scales, and I'm a tad less than the morning before. I'm not hungry, not even having chocolate cravings! Lost another 3 1/2
Hmm, week four - time to progress to level 2 - or is it? The Rosedale diet book says that you can stay on level 1 indefinitely, in fact its recommended, but in week four, you can progress to level 2, if you must.So I've decided to progress to *some*
When I saw my first Rosedale diet dinner - a very small serve of chicken, plus low carb vegetables, my first thought was 'is that all?'. And thats exactly how I felt after I'd eaten it! Gradually, over the week, I learned to add soup and/or salad to the meal,
