[Ingredients:  linseed meal,  lecithin,  whey protein isolate, coconut,  psyllium]

Lowcarb Pantry muffin mix is a low carb mix that can be used to make delicious muffins and quickbreads with a very low carb count.

It has been designed especially to avoid raising blood glucose, because blood glucose stimulates an insulin response, which leads to weigh gain.  In other words, it won’t cause weight gain, so you can eat these muffins guilt free.  For diabetics, they will not cause wild swings of blood sugar, as many other bakery goods do.

The muffin mix can also be used as a cereal or porridge, giving you a full feeling in your stomach to start the day -  and because it is low in carbohydrates and high in protein and fiber you won’t get hungry again until lunch.

Nutritionists recommend that we eat fish every week to get the health benefits of omega 3 fatty acids and so reduce the likelihood of heart disease. Apart from fish the only other  significant natural food source of omega 3s is linseed   Linseed is a very rich source of these beneficial oils without the fishy taste, and Lowcarb Pantry Muffin Mix is rich in linseed.

To cap it off, Lowcarb Pantry Muffin Mix is also fortified with protein and high in fiber. A recent study done at the University if WA has shown that increased protein and fiber in the diet effectively lowers blood pressure, so reducing heart disease.
